Minor upgrades to gonumber.com, including:
- General
- Introducing full size image display: Until now, images imported into the directory were shown at a maximum (standard) width of 500 pixels with a 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio. It is now possible to view the images at the original size they were when imported. To view a full size image:
- If a preview image is visible on a gonumber profile (normally, top left), click to display it and any additional images associated with that account at the standard width in the normal way.
- Now click the standard size image(s) to view at full size. If an image does not appear any or much larger then it would have been imported at that size.
*Note: If the image display is in slide show (sequence) mode, then the images cannot be enlarged until the slide show is stopped. (Members: You can choose to display your images in various ways. Login to your account and select the Image Manager from GONUMBER::CONTROL.)
- Members
- Within the account editor (GONUMBER::CONTROL) the [Publish] button has been moved from Area 4 to Area 2.

The British media is today reporting that several businesses are showing little respect for consumer data protection. One of the founding principles behind gonumber.com is to ensure ownership of the data in the directory remains entirely under the control of our members. Highly sensitive information cannot be stored in the directory while an advanced permissions system allows members to choose who can access what. Best of all, our members can request their accounts be erased in full at any time. We encourage the industry to remember that dignity and privacy are priceless, but the loss of one or the other can be extremely costly to all concerned.

New features for gonumber.com members:
- List Maker item numbers can now be switched off so that items on your menus or other lists are not automatically numbered when viewed on your gonumber public profile. Ideal if you use a different numbering system or none at all. For further details see the gonumber.com user guide accessible by clicking the '?' link from within GONUMBER::CONTROL.
- [Read] button added to your account message inbox. This allows you to flag messages you have read or responded to. If all messages have been marked as read or deleted then the message indicator will no longer appear after you login.
